Shiseido Japan launched an interesting interactive piece at their Ginza showroom.
Shiseido used transparent LCD monitors to produce the appearance of a church-like stained glass window. The cool part is that the transparent LCD monitors can change the animation on its surface.
For this interactive piece, the transparent LCD monitors will mimic the colors of the passerby's clothing. In addition, if a user connects their Facebook account to the piece, then the digital display will transform 9 of your Facebook photos into stained glass artworks in the piece.
Interactive transparent LCD monitors could be the future of windows in smart home. Why settle for a boring window when you can animate it to make the house more lively?
